The Russian office of the brand announced the updated Chery Tiggo 4 Pro crossover a week ago. Then it was reported that the changes affected the interior, but only now the company has distributed photographs of it. Let us remind you that the premiere of the modernized SUV is timed to coincide with the 18-year presence of Chery in Russia, so the full name of this five-door sounds like Chery Tiggo 4 Pro 18 years edition. Well, the SUV itself launched in the Russian Federation in 2019, our version experienced the previous restyling in 2022 — at the same time the model acquired the Pro prefix.

As expected, a scoreboard was installed inside the Russian Tiggo 4 Pro, that is, combined screens of the instrument panel and multimedia system — each with a diagonal of 10.25 inches (the pre-reform cross had a maximum of 7-inch screen in the instrument panel). By the way, in China the crossover received dual displays back in 2022 (in its homeland the model is called Tiggo 5x), while they retained versions with separate tablets. Our SUV also got a different front panel — with air deflectors hidden in a single plate. In addition, the buttons under the central air ducts have become different. The touch control unit for the “climate” was left, and unlike the model in China, the Russian Tiggo 4 Pro does not have physical washers on this “remote control”.

The modernized SUV will be available in the Russian Federation in four trim levels: Action, Family, Style and Ultimate. But the pre-reform Tiggo 4 Pro has five of them — for such an SUV there is also a “medium” Travel version. As before, the top version of the Ultimate includes 18-inch wheels, LED optics, a panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charging, dual-zone climate control, heated seats and all-round cameras. The most expensive Chery Tiggo 4 Pro 18 years edition is also equipped with a set of security systems, which includes adaptive cruise control, auto braking systems, lane marking monitoring and blind spot monitoring.

The reforms did not affect the technology. In the Action and Family versions, the crossover is equipped with a 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol engine with a power of 113 hp; the Style and Ultimate versions have a 147-horsepower turbo-four of the same volume. The basic Tiggo 4 Pro is equipped with a five-speed manual or CVT, the remaining options are equipped only with CVT. In any case, the drive is exclusively front-wheel drive.
Chery Tiggo 4 Pro with a new interior should be released on the Russian market before the end of the first quarter, prices have not yet been announced. The pre-reform crossover now costs 2,120,000 – 2,620,000 rubles (excluding shares).
