MOSCOW, February 19 Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the inclusion of catering facilities in tourism development programs to receive benefits, the corresponding order was published on the Kremlin website.
“To the Government of the Russian Federation: to ensure the introduction of amendments to the legislation of the Russian Federation providing for the inclusion of public catering facilities created as part of the implementation of projects in the field of tourism in such projects as auxiliary infrastructure facilities in order to provide the possibility of preferential lending,” the order says.< br />The report must be submitted by April 1, 2024. The government was also instructed to finalize the conditions for providing subsidies within the framework of the state program “Tourism Development” to support projects for the creation of modular non-capital accommodation facilities in terms of optimizing the requirements for their production, from the federal budget to entities included in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic zone.
In addition, the government has been instructed to submit proposals for introducing changes that take into account the peculiarities of tourism development in the Far North in the rules for the provision and distribution of subsidies to entities included in the state program «Tourism Development».
In addition , the list instructed to include in the plan for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the Khabarovsk urban agglomeration the construction of infrastructure facilities for technology parks that support the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in the development of creative industries, including by providing for the financing of their construction through subsidies from the federal budget.
