MOSCOW, 19 FebRussian President Vladimir Putin recommended providing members of large families in the Far Eastern Federal District with a low level of income with an exemption from paying property tax for individuals in relation to their only housing, according to the list of presidential instructions following a working trip to the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Khabarovsk Territory 10 – January 11, 2024.
«To recommend to the executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that are part of the Far Eastern Federal District, to invite the representative bodies of municipalities to provide members of large families with a low level of income and living in such constituent entities of the Russian Federation, a benefit in the form exemption from payment of property tax for individuals in relation to the only residential premises suitable for permanent residence,” the document says, the designated deadline is April 1.
