MOSCOW, February 21 Decision on a possible visit Russian President Vladimir Putin himself will receive the event in Rostov-on-Don, said the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev.
“It depends on the president,” Golubev said in response to the question whether Putin is expected in Rostov-on-Don in the near future.
«Now a special regime (is in effect), which is determined not by the region, but, most likely, by those who are nearby,» he added.
Putin regularly visits the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don. He holds meetings there and meets with the command.
