The district court of St. Petersburg sentenced a citizen to three years of suspended liberty, who was found guilty of writing inscriptions and drawings on the walls of two buildings on motives of political and national hatred. The United Press Service of the City Courts reports that in October last year, a citizen painted the facades, “expressing his hatred, a feeling of intense enmity and deep dislike” for the SVO.
What inscriptions the citizen painted, the judicial press service did not specify . It is also reported that the man also painted a “stylized drawing of a heart” on the wall.
The court estimated the material damage from the drawing and inscriptions at 21,254 rubles and 25 kopecks.
It is also reported that at the end of last year, the citizen “purchased and stored at his place of residence ammunition for TT and PPSh, M-56.”
During the trial, the accused fully admitted his guilt, and therefore the case was considered in a special manner. The convicted person was released on probation with a four-year probationary period in the courtroom.
