Kindergarten No. 17 “Olympic” in Divnogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, invited employees of the Russian Guard to an event dedicated to February 23, reports the TVK news agency.
One of the parents sent TVK a video in which security forces show children how they detain a “criminal”: they put handcuffs on a person lying on the floor and take him out of the hall. Other footage shows a relay race that children pass with machine guns in their hands.
“Imagine what they arranged for the children on February 23rd. My child goes there. I think that children shouldn’t be shown how people are being manipulated,” said TVK’s interlocutor.
In a conversation with the agency, the head of the kindergarten, Elena Ekhalova, said that such an event was held for the first time, only children from the senior and preparatory groups took part in it. According to her, no complaints were received from parents.
“The Russian Guard cooperates with our kindergarten. They proposed to show children how men work for Defender of the Fatherland Day. <…> In general, the Russian Guard conducts almost every month exercises to capture a terrorist in a building. Children, of course, watch this, but it happens all the time,” Ekhalova explained.
In Pervouralsk, on February 23, a military sports game “Zarnichka” was held for pupils of three kindergartens, during which children competed “in the speed of crawling snow with machine guns,” reported the telegram channel “Not the Norm.”
Earlier, the Russian Guard held the “Special Purpose Santa Claus” event, during which security forces in Santa Claus costumes and special forces uniforms congratulated schoolchildren and kindergarten students in Primorye, Dagestan and Kurgan region.
In February, children from the Yolochka kindergarten in the Karelian city of Kemi were tied with pioneer ties and lined up as a sign of “injustice towards Russian athletes at international competitions.”
