KAZAN, February 22 The Kazan aviation and Kazan helicopter plants are undergoing major modernization, their potential is growing, said the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin .
«There is a major modernization of the aircraft plant, very serious. There is also a major modernization of the Kazan helicopter plant. Last year we manufactured 75 helicopters, now we are increasing machining, our potential will be much greater,» Minnikhanov said.
