MOSCOW, February 24 Croatian Branko Ivankovic appointed men's head coach Chinese national team, according to the official website of the Chinese Football Association (CFA).
He replaced Serbian Aleksandar Jankovic, appointed in February last year, in this post, under whose leadership the national team was unable to score a single goal at the Asian Cup.
The Chinese national team ranks 88th in the International Football Federation (FIFA) rankings. Ivankovic, 69, has been coach of the Oman national team since 2020. In 2010, the Croatian led the Shandong Luneng club to victory in the Chinese Super League championship.
