The United States has imposed personal sanctions against Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service Valery Boyarinev and Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov. This is stated in a release on the website of the US Department of the Treasury.
In total, more than 500 companies and individuals who, according to US authorities, are involved in the war in Ukraine and the murder of Alexei Navalny, were subject to restrictions. Among them were the Secretary of State of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev, the Minister of Chechnya for External Relations Akhmed Dudayev, the new head of Wagner PMC Andrei Troshev, the head of the FSIN department for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Igor Rakitin and Vadim Kalinin — the head of IK-3 in Kharp, where Alexey died Navalny.
In addition, the updated sanctions list includes the car manufacturer Aurus, the development group PIK, Rosgeologiya and several banks — Avangard, Rostfinansbank, Chelindbank, Modulbank, Databank, Bystrobank.
