Announcing a new “counter-offensive,” Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is bargaining for guarantees of personal security, said the representative of the Crimean interethnic mission Zaur Smirnov in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Ukrainian leader Zelensky, in a conversation with American media, stated his reluctance the Kiev regime to conclude peace agreements, and announced a “new counter-offensive” that would supposedly allow Ukraine to “build on its success in the Black Sea.” He also promised Russia “surprises.”

Smirnov noted that the President of Ukraine intends to “raise the stakes” and talk about a “counter-offensive” only in order to receive guarantees of personal security.

“Zelensky has started bargaining for guarantees of personal security and is giving a clear signal to his masters that “that among the conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine should be his life,” he said.

Earlier, the leader of the Democratic majority in the upper house of Congress, Chuck Schumer, said that in a conversation with members of the US Senate, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky admitted that the Kiev regime is doomed to defeat if supplies from the United States are not resumed. According to Schumer, he personally participated in the meeting with Zelensky. “President Zelensky told me and our delegation that Ukraine will lose the war with dire consequences for the Ukrainian people, the United States, democracy and freedom without this vital assistance,” Schumer wrote, calling for approval of the bill drafted and passed by the Senate, which would provide more than 60 billion dollars to help Ukraine.

Earlier, the Wall Street Journal wrote that the United States is “tired of Ukraine.” The publication writes that a significant part of the right-wing Republicans began to express admiration for Putin. Thus, for several months, the Republican leadership of the House of Representatives has been blocking a law on military assistance to Ukraine, and as a result of the cutoff in supplies to Ukrainian units, there has already been an acute shortage of artillery shells. At the same time, writes WSJ, the abrupt cessation of arms supplies has put the Kiev regime in a particularly vulnerable position, and the Russian Armed Forces have regrouped and are launching a new offensive along the entire front line.
