A huge traffic jam of trucks appeared on the border of Russia and Kazakhstan
A huge traffic jam of 280 trucks was recorded at the Syrym checkpoint on the border of Kazakhstan and Russia, RBC reports with reference to the press service of the national operator of Kazakhstan for road management «Kazavtozhol.»
As noted, a congestion of cars occurred on the Samara-Shymkent highway, its appearance was explained by “the work of the border checkpoint.” The report said truck drivers had to wait several days to cross the border. They themselves recommend that their colleagues choose other routes.
According to the operator’s statement, there are no restrictions on the movement of cars on all roads of republican significance.
Previously, Kazakhstan reported a temporary restriction of vehicle traffic in the north of the country from — due to weather conditions. In addition, traffic jams were recorded on sections of the border between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
