MOSCOW, February 23 The United States has included ICL Techno, the leading manufacturer of computer equipment in Russia, on the sanctions list, the US Treasury Department announced on Friday.
ICL is a high-tech group of companies, one of the largest IT companies in Russia. The company was founded as a joint venture in 1991 on the basis of a computer plant by the Kazan Production Association of Computer Systems (KPO BC) and the British company International Computers Limited (ICL).
From 2002 to 2013, the ICL group of companies was part of the Fujitsu group of companies; from 2013 to 2023, the companies were partners.
