MOSCOW, February 24On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, over seven years, more than 70 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget to support socially-oriented non-profit organizations, said First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko.
“Today we are summing up the work of the Presidential Grants Fund in recent years, it emerged in this form seven years ago. And here we are, summing up the results, of course, we can calculate these results in billions of rubles, it also turns out seriously, because during this time, on behalf of President allocated more than 70 billion rubles from the federal budget alone to support socially-oriented non-profit organizations,” Kiriyenko said at the Day of Non-Profit Organizations as part of the Russia exhibition and forum.
He added that co-financing amounted to 65 billion rubles.

«Let's think, over seven years — that's 135 billion rubles. Plus the regions that we have during this time… during this time we have the amount of funding that the regions invest in supporting socially-oriented non-profit organizations from their budgets regions, also increased significantly,” said the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

Kirienko noted that a total of 43 thousand projects were supported.
