The father of defector pilot Kuzminov called his son a traitor and compared him to Judas
The father of the Russian defector pilot Maxim Kuzminov, Oleg Sivaev, called his son a traitor. He also compared him to Judas. He stated this in a conversation with the Baza telegram channel.
According to the man, he learned about the murder of his son from the news and was not surprised by what happened.
“He acted like Judas. At the same time, I feel sorry for him that he traded for such a trifle, betraying his Motherland, Fatherland, and his loved ones. Not a single country respected traitors,” said Oleg Sivaev.
He also said that he felt sorry for the pilots who died due to Kuzminov’s fault.
“They were probably like him brothers saw him as a colleague. I sincerely feel sorry for these people,” concluded Kuzminov’s father.
Recall that in the summer of 2023, Kuzminov hijacked a Russian Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine, resulting in the death of two Russian pilots.
On February 19 of this year, it became known that Maxim Kuzminov was killed in Spain.
According to sources, he flew into the country under the name of 33-year-old Igor Shevchenko, using a Ukrainian passport. In Kyiv, in turn, they said that he was offered asylum.
