MOSCOW, February 27 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law allowing for the acceleration of the application of the deduction for the fee for the use of aquatic biological resources. The corresponding document is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
The law reduces the time between the emergence of the right to receive such a deduction and the beginning of its application. To this end, the procedure for submitting an application to Rosrybolovstvo to confirm the validity of applying the deduction is being clarified, and the notification of such confirmation can be used multiple times.
These changes will make it possible to apply the deduction not a year after the development and processing of aquatic biological resources, but after their extraction (catch) and the production of products with high added value from them. The list of such products for applying the deduction is determined by government order dated July 6, 2023.
Thus, according to the explanatory note, funds within the established amount of the deduction will be retained in the circulation of fish producers — payers of the fee. Taking into account the production volumes and the achieved production volumes of processed products, the total amount of the deduction in 2024 is estimated at 1.2 billion rubles, and taking into account the projected growth in the output of processed products — on a cumulative basis, at least 3 billion rubles in the medium term.
The law comes into force one month after its official publication.
