SIMFEROPOL, February 28 Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that Vladimir Zelensky must answer in a public trial for the murders of Kherson residents and the destruction of the region.
“Investigators, prosecutors and judges should talk to Zelensky for the murders of Kherson residents and the destruction of the region’s material wealth. And I am ready to act as a witness for the prosecution at a public trial. That’s where I would ask him a few questions,” Saldo said.
Kherson region is a region of Russia, located on the left bank of the Dnieper in the lower reaches, washed by the Azov and Black Seas. The region became a subject of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. The Ukrainian side does not recognize its legitimacy and continues to shell the territory. Currently, 75% of the Kherson region is under Russian control, and part of the right bank of the Dnieper, including the city of Kherson, is held by Ukrainian troops.
