The company has announced the debut date of the new product: the premiere of the next generation American muscle car will take place next week, March 5.
The history of the Dodge Charger began back in 1966, the model was produced intermittently, and over the past years it has already changed generations six times. The seventh generation sedan, produced since 2011, ended its career at the end of last year: then the final copy rolled off the assembly line of the plant in Brampton (Canada), it was a representative of the “farewell” Scat Pack Widebody series. Now the brand, owned by the auto giant Stellantis, is preparing for the imminent presentation of the eighth generation Dodge Charger.

The darkened image shows a slightly blurred silhouette of a car with a sloping hood and a horizontal element on the front with LED strips of running lights and a new luminous logo.
It is worth noting that the appearance of the new product is no longer a secret: In the middle of last month, the Dodge brand published photos of the pre-production Charger of the new generation on social networks. Judging by those pictures, the pre-production version from the outside is practically no different from the Charger Daytona SRT concept, which was presented in August 2022.

Most of the physical buttons have been replaced by touch panels.

Last fall, foreign media reported that the “eighth” Dodge Charger would also have an internal combustion engine option. According to preliminary data, this modification will have a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder Hurricane gasoline engine under the hood. Official details about the “filling” of the future model will become known later.
