In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a criminal case was opened against a man who beat his own father to death (Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code) for refusing to help with housework. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
According to investigators, at the end of November last year in the village of Yuzhno-Aleksandrovka, Ilansky district of the region, a 24-year-old suspect, “while drinking alcohol,” quarreled with a 63-year-old father, took a “punch” and struck her 6- 7 blows to the head and body of an elderly man. The victim died on the spot from multiple injuries.

I didn’t hear how I got mad and took this masher, which was lying next to a piglet to masher potatoes in the kitchen near the stove. It is the size of a glass in diameter and 50 centimeters long. He took it and began to strike,” the press service of the prosecutor’s office quotes the suspect as saying.
In December, the Borus publication specified that a 24-year-old man had recently returned from the war in Ukraine. According to the Investigative Committee, he was previously brought “to criminal liability for a similar crime.” He is now in custody.
