MOSCOW, February 29 The M-12 highway will be extended to Yekaterinburg this year, and to Tyumen in 2025 , said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The development of tourism in the region as a whole is ensured by the transport infrastructure. High-speed road traffic has already opened between Moscow and Kazan. This year we will extend the highway to Yekaterinburg, and next year to Tyumen. In the future, a modern and safe route will pass through the entire country to Vladivostok,” — said the president, delivering a message to the Federal Assembly.
At the end of last year, traffic opened along the entire section of the M-12 Vostok highway from Moscow to Kazan, 810 kilometers long.
Putin added that in 6 years they are going to build more than 50 city bypasses in Russia.
