The actor from “Country of the Deaf” and “Kamenskaya” Poymalov died

MOSCOW, February 26 Moscow Youth Theater actor Pavel Poimalov passed away at the age of 57, the theater’s website reported.

“The artist Pavel Poimalov has died,” the publication says.

About the date of farewell will be notified additionally, the theater added.

Pavel Poymalov was born in 1966 in the city of Kizlyar. He graduated from the Gorky Theater School and the directing department of GITIS. In 1992, the actor was enrolled in the troupe of the Moscow Youth Theater. The artist played in the film “Country of the Deaf” by Valery Todorovsky, in the TV series “Kamenskaya”, “Truckers-2”, “Citizen Chief” and others. Poymalov won the Cannes Film Festival in the category «Best Acting Ensemble» for his role in Pavel Lungin's film «Wedding» in 2001.
