MOSCOW, February 29 Russian MMA fighter Alexander Shlemenko will meet with Kazakh Kuat Khamitov as part of the main event of the 19th tournament of the RCC Mixed Martial Arts League, according to the league’s Telegram channel.
The tournament will take place on May 4 in Chelyabinsk at the stadium of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club «Traktor». Shlemenko will take part in the main event of the league tournaments for the seventh time. He has been competing in RCC for five years.
In professional MMA, 39-year-old Shlemenko has 63 victories and 15 defeats, another Russian fight ended in a draw. In his last fight on December 15, 2023, he defeated Serbian Alexander Ilic at the RCC 17 tournament, taking revenge.
Khamitova is 36 years old. He won 25 fights and was defeated 7 times; two of the Kazakh fights ended in a draw.
