
MOSCOW, February 26 The Soyuz-2.1b rocket with the Meteor-M hydrometeorological spacecraft and 18 Russian and foreign accompanying small satellites was installed at the Vostochny cosmodrome in Yakutia, according to the official website of Roscosmos.
Earlier, a source in the rocket and space industry reported that the Soyuz-2.1b rocket will launch the Meteor-M hydrometeorological satellite and small devices into orbit as a passing load from the Vostochny Cosmodrome on February 29, 2024 at 08.43 Moscow time .
«Today the Soyuz-2.1b space rocket with the Meteor-M hydrometeorological spacecraft No. 2-4 and 18 Russian and foreign accompanying small satellites was transported to the launch complex of site 1C of the Vostochny cosmodrome. After installing the rocket in a vertical position at the launch complex, specialists from the Roscosmos state corporation continued preparing it for launch,» the message says.
