The Petrodvortsovy District Court of St. Petersburg arrested Bogdan Bondarev, suspected of setting fire to a relay cabinet on the stretch between the Sergievo and Strelna stations. This was reported by the press service of the city courts.
A case of terrorist attack was opened against Bondarev (Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code). The arrest of a 21-year-old suspect in the arson of a relay cabinet on this stretch became known the day before, on February 28. His name was not specified at that time. 47news reported that the detainee was from the Kemerovo region.
According to the publication, the arson occurred on February 10. The detainee allegedly also told the security forces that using a messenger he contacted representatives of the Freedom of Russia legion and, at their request, monitored the work of enterprises of the military-industrial complex — in particular, the Nevsky Mazut plant, on the territory of which a drone fell at the end of January .
According to the press service of the St. Petersburg courts, during the search, security forces found “16 propaganda leaflets with bad things about the President of the Russian Federation” on Bondarev. According to 47news, the young man planned to post them around the city during the election campaign.
