Medvedev quoted Simonov's verse after discussing the attack on Crimea in Germany
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev spoke in his Telegram channel about the conversation of “Bundeswehr officers about planned attacks” on our country.
“Our eternal opponents – the Germans – have again turned into sworn enemies,” noted the ex-president of Russia. He called to make sure with what care and in what detail “the Krauts are discussing strikes” against Russia using extended-range missiles. As Medvedev emphasized, targets for destruction and the most likely ways to cause maximum harm to our Motherland and people are selected.
“You can’t say this better than a poet,” wrote the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, publishing a war poem by Konstantin Simonov. There is, in particular, the following line: “The number of times you see him, the number of times you kill him!”
Medvedev pointed out that the call from the Great Patriotic War had become relevant again: “Death to the Nazi occupiers!”
