MOSCOW, February 29 Representing Georgia are Vladimir native Anastasia Metelkina and Luka Berulava, born in Moscow, became winners in the pairs competition at the World Junior Figure Skating Championships in Taipei (Taiwan).
The champions received 107.79 points for their free skate, gaining a total of 179.32 points.
The Americans Olivia Flores and Luke Wang took second place (sum 166.89), their compatriots Naomi Williams and Lachlan Lewer took third (146.00).
The Council of the International Skating Union (ISU) on March 1, 2022, against the backdrop of events in Ukraine, suspended Russian and Belarusian figure skaters, speed skaters and short track speed skaters from participating in international tournaments. The decision is valid until further notice.
