MOSCOW, March 1, Sergey Fuks. President of the Russian Olympic Committee (OCR) Stanislav Pozdnyakov, after receiving the Order of Alexander Nevsky, said that Russia has always been a great sports power.
On March 1, the opening ceremony of the XVI Spartakiad among the federal government bodies of the Russian Federation takes place in the Moscow Kremlin. Pozdnyakov received the Order of Alexander Nevsky from the hands of Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin. The head of the ROC was awarded by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin in August 2023 for “contribution to the development of physical culture and sports, many years of conscientious work.”
