MOSCOW, February 29. Xiaomi is working to fix a glitch that makes smartphones inoperable. This was reported on the official page of the corporation on the VKontakte social network.
““We are already working to solve the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the message says.
Previously, Xiaomi users complained about breaking smartphones update. Owners of gadgets write in a discussion in the official Xiaomi VKontakte group that their devices have turned into “bricks.” After an update attempt, which for many began automatically, the Recovery Menu opens on the smartphone screens, from which it is impossible to exit. Rebooting also does not help.
The company's support service clarified that a global large-scale failure had occurred. There are two solutions to the problem: either perform a complete reset of the device, or take it to a service center, the organization said.
