MOSCOW, March 1 The Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) has paid 880.3 million rubles to Qiwi Bank depositors since February 29, reports agency.
«»Since February 29, 2024, 1,458 depositors in Qiwi Bank (JSC) received insurance compensation in the amount of 880.3 million rubles. This amounts to 20% of the insurance liability of the state corporation «Deposit Insurance Agency» (DIA) regarding this bank,» the statement says.
Payments are made through Uralsib, acting on behalf of the DIA and at its expense as an agent bank.
The DIA also reminds owners of Qiwi wallets and legal entities that are not small businesses that the funds they place in the bank are not subject to insurance. To return the funds, they must submit the creditor's claim either in person or by mail to a Qiwi Bank branch.
