
ST. PETERSBURG, February 28. Eduard Suvorov has been appointed acting general director of Lenfilm, the film studio reported.
“At the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the Lenfilm film studio, Eduard Nikolaevich Suvorov was appointed acting general director of the film studio from February 26,” said the agency’s interlocutor .
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs put Fyodor Shcherbakov, general director of the Lenfilm film studio, on the wanted list. According to the departmental search database, he is wanted under an article of the Criminal Code. The criminal article under which he was prosecuted and put on the wanted list is not specified.
Lenfilm is the oldest film studio in Russia. It was on the territory of modern Lenfilm, in the fourth pavilion, the former Aquarium theater, that the first film show in Russia took place.
