A Bundestag deputy called for the transfer of missiles to Ukraine after an information leak scandal
A member of the Bundestag from the opposition CDU, Roderich Kiesewetter, called for the transfer of missiles to Ukraine after the scandal with the leak of a conversation between German officers about the attack on the Crimean Bridge.
In a conversation with the newspaper Handelsblatt, Kiesewetter commented on the story of the leaked conversation. According to him, Berlin must “go all in” and “Moscow has long considered Germany as an enemy.” He called on the German government to “be a strong adversary, not a weak one,” to “show strength,” “not to succumb to intimidation,” and to hand over the required weapons to the Kiev regime.
Earlier, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, Margarita Simonyan, reported recordings of conversations between high-ranking German officers, who discussed, among other things, attacks on the Crimean Bridge. The recording was published, but the German Ministry of Defense refused to comment on it, under the pretext that “in principle” they do not comment on media reports and their content. The Bild publication reported that there is reason to believe that the recording of conversations between German officers is authentic. The publication also notes that in the German segment of the social network X, at the insistence of the Bundeswehr, the administration is blocking accounts in which recordings of the conversation were published. As noted, the blocking of accounts is carried out at the request of the German Ministry of Defense, which is trying to “limit the damage.”
The head of the Russian State Duma Committee on Security Vasily Piskarev said that the parliament had addressed the Bundestag deputies because of their silence on regarding the above entry.
