MOSCOW, March 2 The Russian Ministry of Finance has not received a question about the need to allocate additional funding for a number of domestic aircraft, the delivery dates of which have changed , reported the press service of the ministry.
“The Russian Ministry of Finance has not received any questions about the need to allocate additional funding,” the ministry responded to the question of whether project funding will increase due to the postponement of deliveries.
On Thursday, Rostec head Sergei Chemezov announced the postponement of MC-21 deliveries to 2025, and possibly even to 2026. According to information updated by UAC, the start of deliveries of SJ-100 is 2026, MS-21 — 2025. Initially, the dates stated for them were the end of 2023 and the end of 2024, respectively. However, the corporation emphasizes that, in fact, we are talking about a return to the original terms of import substitution programs, and not about a shift.
The UAC also talked about the Il-114-300 passenger aircraft: it is planned to receive a type certificate for it in the first half of 2024, and deliveries will begin in 2026.
At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that the shift in serial deliveries of Russian SJ-100 and MC-21 aircraft will not affect the overall plan for the production of 600 aircraft in the Russian Federation until 2030; a “catch-up schedule” will be provided.
