NALCHIK, March 4 Law enforcement officials continue to look for another member of a bandit group from Ingushetia, six members of which were eliminated in Karabulak, a source in the region’s law enforcement agencies said .
On Saturday, a counter-terrorist operation regime was introduced in the city of Karabulak in Ingushetia. In one of the apartment buildings, FSB special forces blocked a group of bandits who intended to commit high-profile terrorist crimes. On Sunday, NAC reported the neutralization of six militants. According to available data, they were adherents of the international terrorist organization ISIS and were involved in an attack on a traffic police post and the murder of three police officers in March 2023. Three bandits, including the gang leader, were on the federal wanted list.
A source in the security forces of Ingushetia reported that among the liquidated bandits, 34-year-old leader of the bandit group Amirkhan Gurazhev, 24-year-old Zelimkhan Tsuroev and 32-year-old year-old Tagir Tsuroev, who were wanted, as well as 26-year-old Bers Chemurziev and 23-year-old Mikail Tutaev and Magomed Barkinkhoev.
““Another active member of this gang is still on the federal wanted list: 36-year-old Adam Ozdoev, he was not in his apartment in Karabulak,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
He clarified that Ozdoev has been wanted since the end of March 2023 after participating in an attack on a traffic police post on the border of Ingushetia and North Ossetia and on police officers in the village of Zyazikov-Yurt in the Malgobek region.
The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs report on the search for Ozdoev notes that he is armed and very dangerous. “With his participation, three attacks on police officers were committed and there is a threat of committing other terrorist crimes,” the ministry notes. A reward has been announced for information about the whereabouts of the wanted man.
