VLADIVOSTOK, March 4 In Primorye Partizansk, a 14-year-old schoolgirl was injured after falling from a height from an abandoned factory building; she was hospitalized with injuries, the Primorye prosecutor's office reports.
It is noted that on Saturday evening a group of teenagers, having entered one of the buildings of an abandoned chemical and pharmaceutical plant, tried to jump over the destroyed ceiling on the 3rd floor. One of them, a 14-year-old girl, lost her balance and fell down, hitting the concrete surface.
«As a result of the injuries received, the minor was hospitalized in the trauma department of the KGBUZ «Partisan City Hospital No. 1». Currently, the city prosecutor's office is identifying the owner of the abandoned building and the circumstances of the incident,” the supervisory authority said in a statement.
Based on the incident, the prosecutor's office intends to assess the actions (inaction) of the owner of the building and city administration officials to restrict children's access to unsafe and abandoned buildings.
