
SIMFEROPOL, March 3The Energodar authorities warned residents on their Telegram channel about objects resembling flashlights being scattered in the city, which explode and can injure a person.
«Flashlights and similar objects are scattered around the city. When you press on such a flashlight, a detonator is activated and it explodes. It can seriously injure an adult; for children the consequences can be even more dangerous. Therefore, do not pick up such objects under any circumstances, have conversations with children,” the city administration said in a statement. 
The authorities ask that if you find suspicious objects, you should report it to the police.
Zaporozhye region is a region of Russia located in the lower reaches of the Dnieper. Became part of Russia following a referendum in September 2022. Kyiv does not recognize its results and continues to shell the territory. Currently, more than 70% of the Zaporozhye region is under Russian control; the rest, including the regional center, the city of Zaporozhye, is held by Ukrainian troops. Since March 2023, the administrative center of the region has temporarily become the city of Melitopol.
