MOSCOW, March 4 Sanctions against the Russian development group PIK will not change the situation in the Russian construction industry, which has a high level of import substitution, said the head of the Ministry of Construction, Irek Faizullin.
The United States previously announced a new large package of anti-Russian sanctions. In particular, the restrictions affected the PIK group of companies, one of the largest federal developers in Russia.
«Because one company, albeit a large one, fell (under sanctions — ed.), what can change? We «In the construction industry today we have a very high level of import substitution — in civil engineering. There are a number of resources that we purchase from foreign countries. But over these two years we have already learned to circumvent all sanctions,» Faizullin said.
He noted that today there are many friendly countries with which Russia has begun to work.
