MOSCOW, March 3 Yakutia always welcomes a visit from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, at any time of the year, said the head of the republic, Aisen Nikolaev.
“We always wait for our president on our territory, at any time of the year,” Nikolaev said in response to the question whether Putin is expected in the region in the spring.
Earlier, Putin told reporters that he plans to visit Yakutia in the spring or summer.
A visit to the republic was on the schedule of the head of state’s trip to the Far East in January, but it had to be postponed due to bad weather.
