The Pushkinogorsk court of the Pskov region fined Yan Matveev, a military observer of the YouTube channel “Popular Politics”, 30 thousand rubles in an administrative case. The Pskov Province drew attention to the message from the press service of the regional courts.
According to the card on the court’s website, the decision was made on February 16. Matveev was found guilty of disseminating information without the label “foreign agent” (Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code). According to a similar protocol, he was fined in December 2023.

As noted in the “Pskov Province”, Matveev is outside Russia. The Ministry of Justice added it to its list in May last year. He, the department decided, “openly supported Ukraine, identified the Russian Federation with Nazi Germany,” and also “formed a negative attitude towards military service.”
