MOSCOW, March 4 More than two million Russians have used the service » Mobile Voter» on the Gosuslugi portal — it allows you to choose a convenient polling station for those who will not be able to be at their place of registration on voting day in the presidential election, the Ministry of Digital Development said.
«The Mobile Voter service allows you to choose a convenient polling station for those who will not be able to be at their place of registration on the day of voting in the presidential elections. More than 2 million people have already used it on the State Services. For comparison, during the presidential elections in 2018 “1.6 million people changed their voting precinct using the portal,” the Ministry of Digital Development said in a statement.

The ministry noted that most often in the current year, the polling stations were changed in cities such as St. Petersburg and Moscow, as well as in the regions — Moscow region, Krasnodar region, Krasnoyarsk region, Leningrad region, Samara region, Irkutsk region, Sverdlovsk region, Tatarstan.
Application to change the voting precinct will be accepted until March 11, 23.59 Moscow time.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
