«Military Thought»: in case of an attack on Russia, the enemy will launch an air-ground operation
The Military Thought magazine reported that an air-sea or air-ground operation could be launched against Russia, starting with a quick global strike and simultaneously several massive missile and air strikes.
According to the authors of the magazine, which is published by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, foreign experts are currently considering the creation of a new type of military formations. We are talking about “joint operational formations”, including interspecific compact, highly mobile multi-connected groupings of troops.
It is specified that the United Nations Front will have the ability to quickly attack the enemy’s military-industrial and administrative-political infrastructure and inflict damage on it complex defeat.
“The most likely forms of use of such formations are air-sea and air-ground campaigns. Most likely, these campaigns will begin with air operations, in particular, with a quick global strike and several massive missile and air strikes,” the experts noted.
They added that aviation will be used at the beginning of hostilities, because it is the most adaptive and maneuverable type of troops.
