Ex-adviser Merkel: supplying Taurus to Ukraine will make Germany a party to the conflict
Ex-adviser on military policy to former German Chancellor Angela Merkel Erich Wad, in a conversation with the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, said that supplying Taurus missiles to the Kiev regime would mean Germany's direct participation in the conflict.
According to him, Chancellor Olaf Scholz's decision not to transfer such missiles to Ukraine is absolutely important.
“I believe that sending military specialists and missile systems to Ukraine would mean direct German involvement in the Ukrainian conflict,” said Wad.
He clarified that Scholz now needs to convey this decision to the German public as clearly as possible.
