MOSCOW, March 4 Russian military personnel , participating in a special military operation, vote early in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation on the territory of the DPR, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
«Servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the zone of a special military operation are taking part in early voting in the elections of the head of state on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic,» the message says.
It is noted that the election process is organized in accordance with the Federal Law “On the Election of the President of the Russian Federation.”
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
