MOSCOW, March 6The fire at the thermal power plant in Shagonar in Tuva has been completely extinguished, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
On Wednesday, a coal dust explosion occurred in the three-story building of the central boiler house of the Shagonar thermal power plant fuel supply room, which caused a fire over an area of 50 square meters. 23 people were injured, 15 were hospitalized, six are in serious condition. According to the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, the organization of heat supply according to a temporary scheme is being studied.
“The fire in the thermal power plant building has been completely extinguished,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
