MOSCOW, March 4 EU ambassadors who refused from meeting with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov before the presidential elections in Russia, they should be expelled from the country, and the level of diplomatic relations with their states should be lowered, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said on the social network X.
On Monday, Lavrov said that he had recently invited ambassadors European Union for a conversation before the elections, but they refused two days before the meeting.
“These ambassadors should be expelled from Russia, and the level of diplomatic relations should be lowered,” Medvedev wrote.
< br>He also emphasized that the EU ambassadors’ refusal to meet with Lavrov completely contradicts the idea of the existence of diplomatic missions.
