More than 3.5 million Russians signed up for DEG during the presidential elections

MOSCOW, March 5More than 3.5 million Russians signed up for remote electronic voting (DEG) in the Russian presidential elections without taking into account Moscow voters, said Igor Borisov, a member of the Russian Central Election Commission.
“Voters using modern electronic services have submitted more than 2 million 300 thousand applications for re-abortion to vote within the framework of the “mobile PEC” procedure, and more than 3.5 million have already signed up for remote electronic voting, not counting Moscow,” Borisov said at the meeting Federation Council Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty and Prevention of Interference in the Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

29 regions will use DEGs in the presidential elections: Moscow, Karelia, Crimea, Chuvashia, Altai, Kamchatka, Perm Territories, Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Vologda, Voronezh, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk , Moscow, Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Pskov, Rostov, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl regions, Sevastopol, as well as the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
