MOSCOW, March 5 Russian military groups » Dnepr» and «Center», participating in the special operation, are taking part in voting early in the Russian presidential elections, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

The right to cast a vote in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation is granted to each participant in the military district in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation,» the message says. .
As the department said, servicemen of the self-propelled artillery regiment and special forces formation of the Center group of troops, performing combat missions in the Avdeevka direction, have already taken part in the voting.
It is noted that voting was organized in specially prepared premises in the rear areas of the special operation. Mobile election commissions will visit all units performing combat missions on the front line, the Russian Defense Ministry noted.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
