Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at a press conference with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, commented on reports that the Ukrainian leader’s motorcade was allegedly attacked.
< p>"President Zelensky and his staff showed us and explained the importance of the port", – said the Greek Prime Minister, adding that at the very end of the event they heard «the sound of sirens and explosions.»
According to Mitsotakis, it was quite close and he had an impressive experience.
Previously Vladimir Zelensky confirmed at the same press conference: “We saw this strike today.”
“I don’t know all the details yet, but I know that there are dead and wounded,” – Zelensky noted.
Earlier, Greek media reported that an attack was allegedly carried out on Zelensky’s motorcade. At the same time, even Ukrainian experts do not rule out that this was staged in order to attract the attention of the European guest to Ukraine’s requests to send more air defense systems and other weapons.
