«Commodity turnover between Beijing and Moscow is growing not only due to energy resources. The export of agricultural products from the Russian Federation to the PRC is growing very quickly. Imports of grain, for example, have almost quadrupled over the year,» he said.
According to him, the export of meat, seafood, wood products, cellulose, and mineral fertilizers is also increasing.
“Beijing realizes that it is supplies from Russia that can ensure what is called energy and food security in China,” noted the agency’s interlocutor.
