SARATOV, March 6 Honored Artist of Russia Ramilya Iskander (Khisamova), together with two alleged accomplices, will appear in court on charges of attempted sale of drugs on an especially large scale and as part of an organized group, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation reported.
Earlier, the press service of the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Penza reported that on August 31, 2023, the court placed Khisamova in custody on charges of attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a particularly large scale and as part of an organized group. A source in the security forces reported that Iskander was detained in Moscow after a total of about two kilograms of mephedrone was found at her home and in her car; she refused to testify. This information was confirmed by another source in law enforcement agencies, who mentioned that the actress was also found to have a dose of cocaine (less than a gram).
«The prosecutor's office of the Penza region approved an indictment in a criminal case against Moscow resident Ramila Khisamova, residents of the Penza region Yaroslav Shalev and Vladimir Kholkin. Depending on their role and degree of participation, they are charged under Part 3 of Article 30 — paragraphs “a”, “d” of Part 4, part 5 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances”… The case was sent to the Pervomaisky District Court of Penza for consideration on the merits,” the message says.
According to investigators, no later than January 1, 2023, Khisamova agreed in a messenger to create an online store for the illegal sale of drugs and psychotropic substances in Penza with her acquaintance, who on the same day involved two of his friends in criminal activities, and the artist herself illegally purchased from unidentified persons “a batch of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances weighing more than 2.6 kilograms, transported it in her car to her place of residence, packaged it into small wholesale lots and transferred one of them weighing more than 300 grams to an accomplice for sale in Penza through an online store «.
“She (Khisamova) continued to store the rest of the drugs at her place of residence and in the car. On January 9, 2023, a member of the criminal group transported a batch of drugs to Penza and handed them over to Shalev and Kholkin; on February 15, 2023, one of the accused organized a cache of drugs and placed its description and address on the storefront of the online store for further illegal sale.The criminals were unable to complete their criminal intent, since they were detained by law enforcement officers, and the drugs were seized from illegal circulation during an inspection of the scene of the incident, searches at the place of residence in Moscow and Penza, as well as from vehicles,” the message says.
The regional prosecutor's office in the Telegram channel clarifies that the accused admitted guilt, while the case against one of the three alleged accomplices was separated into separate proceedings in connection with the conclusion of a pre-trial cooperation agreement.
As follows from the case file on the website of the Pervomaisky District Court of Penza, the case against Khisamova, Kholkin and Shalev was received by the court on February 28, a court hearing was scheduled for 10.30 Moscow time on March 13 to decide on the election or extension of the measure suppression.
According to the biography on the RAMT website, Iskander, winner of numerous awards for her roles as Eleanor and Esme in the play Rock'n'roll, Assol in the play «Scarlet Sails» and other works, was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia in 2021. He also appears in films and TV series.
