Government agencies purchase “Insider” as part of the social network monitoring system “Demon of Laplace,” Zakharov specified. Using a set of tools, security forces and authorities can monitor public pages or actions of a specific user on Vkontakte and Telegram.
The journalist added: “Among the civilian customers of the system is the government of the Pskov and Oryol regions.
