SIRIUS, March 6 Russia has never interfered in the American elections, never dictates who or how to live, said Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
«After the last election, a lot of money was taken from your pocket (American taxpayers — ed.) and spent on investigating whether there was Russian interference in the US elections, and then your own Attorney General's Office came to the conclusion that there was not, and the parliamentary commission came to the conclusion that there was no Russian interference. We didn’t say it, your politicians said it for your money, organizing an investigation that no one understood, but that’s how it happened. And this time we are not going to interfere,» Peskov said in during the marathon «Knowledge. First» of the Russian Society «Knowledge».
He noted that Russia never dictates to anyone how to live.
“But we don’t want to be dictated to. And therefore, of course, we will suppress any attempts if someone interferes in our elections,” Peskov added.
The event is held by the Russian Society «Knowledge» at WFM-2024.
The World Youth Festival is taking place from March 1 to 7 in the federal territory of Sirius by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The organizer of the festival is Rosmolodezh.
